Current RRID Projects

RRID is currently in the process of acquiring land to develop groundwater recharge and banking facilities to take advantage of the availability of surface water supplies during hydrologically wet years. During the wetter years, RRID can acquire water supplies at a lower cost and used these facilities to recharge the groundwater supplies for future extraction. This provides an opportunity to obtain water supplies at wet year market prices and store inground for use in drier years. Additionally, this provides for other potential banking programs that can provide other third-party bankers to store their water in the RRID area providing a benefit to local groundwater levels and potentially providing leave-behind water for RRID’s benefit and use.

There are two properties RRID is actively pursuing for two new recharge facilities for an estimated total of about 300 acres.

More information will be posted once property is acquired.
